gunlance is the clearly easiest weapon in the game. just forget about the gun part and use it as a bonk stick.

Please god can we have all the QoL features of Iceborne already in this game (layered armour, all the features that take them ages to add etc)

7:01 you can dash through that? Often when I try to roll or dash through attacks I still get hit.

What is it that's coating the sword with flame intermittently? Edit: Ok I now see it procs with either the Flame Skewer or Flame Spear ash of war when you activate either.

Nobody has been asking for this. If I wanted to watch a movie, I'd watch a movie. I did in fact watch the MH movie and it left a lot to be desired, unfortunately.

Been playing since tri and I only finally wrapped my head around gunlance in World. I'd mained every other weapon at some point or another. Definitely not an easy one, but so satisfying. Rise SnS is probably a favourite, as is the Insect Glaive. I picked it up in MH4 (Not 4U!) and fell in love with it. As flashy as it is in the air, it really thrives on the ground with thoughtful mounting. The MH4 iteration of the charge blade was fun too, though the closest westerners have gotten to play is striker charge blade in mh gen/genU. I played it some in MHXX.

Probably worth mentioning that you can't put the heavy affinity on this weapon if you use either the Flame Skewer or the Flame Spear, your only options are standard or flame art

No monster hunter player has ever said "man I wish we had more focus on characters". Cinematic you could argue for but I find the character stuff super unnecessary. Genuinely wish they would stop

Have you tried Queelign’s Greatsword with that build?

I wish people would stop bringing this build into pvp I beat it 98% of the time it’s not as strong as people make it out to be

Don't know if anyone mentioned it but if you use a heavy attack right out of Flame Skewer it throws more fire from your hands. Great video, gonna use this build in DLC NG+3

Also the black steel twinblade has a similar passive, but instead of fire imbuement, with a holy one. They deal very good damage :)

how did you deal with messmer with this build?

Now this is making me want to respec my 1st character who I had as a full faith build but it is in NG+2 I think But I now want to go into my strength character and play the dlc trying this build this looks like so much fun

BRO! I saw this sword lastnight and farmed n got it and put Flame Skewer on it. Got it to +10 and me and my Mimic beat Messmer. 10 tries 😅🎉😂 May have used Bloodhound Step On Uchi 🤏

Monster Hunter Wilds will be a no go with me. Rise is far better of a game.
